Testimonials from our Puppy Owners

6/30/10 -  What a wonderful and positive experience it has been since I first spoke with Kelli until the wonderful day when I brought Mali home. She's is always there to answer questions. The place was fabulous and her dogs are wonderful. I had a bad experience trying to work with another breeder and I'm so glad I found Moss Creek. If you go on the forum you can see it's like a big doodle family.

I have an Apricot F1b standard and she is the sweetest, puppy I've ever seen. I have a 15 year old labradoodle but she didn't come knowing how to sit and with manners! She is however the smartest dog in the world. She is still most of my heart but this pup is such a joy and I was shortly in love with her as well. When I went to visit Mali at Moss Creek at 6 weeks old she already knew how to sit!!! Amazing.  Cristy

6/30/2010 - Hi Kelli, Just a note to let you know our Blue monster is doing very well.  He settled in to our family very quickly and is a real joy to us all.  He just finished puppy school and I have attached his graduation photo as well as a few others and a short video of Tyler feeding him.  CLICK HERE!  As you can see Blue is the spitting image of Ariel. Thanks to you for a great family pet. Regards, Keith

6/30/10 - Hi Kelli, We are in love with Crosby!!! I'm already planning for another one in a few years!! We are going away on vacation for a week and I have been in tears not wanting to leave him:( Thank you so much!!! You chose the perfect dog for our family!!! Tasha

6/23/10 - Hey Kelli, Just wanted to give you a quick update on Winston.  He seems to be adjusting well.  He's eating well, getting bigger every day it seems!  We're so glad we were able to bring him into our lives!  Thanks for taking such good care of him!  The vet was very impressed with you as a breeder.  ~Suzy

6/2/10 - Kelli, I thought I'd let you know Charlie is doing great!!  He is so much more than we could ever dream about!  He's really smart!  He's learned a lot from Gracie and they get along great.  At six months, he is 38 pounds and growing.  His personality is so different than Gracie- he is cuddly, laid back and loves kids and adults.  My friends want to rename him Pluto because of his big paws and floppy way of running and playing. Just wanted to thank you for such a great dog!!  You have no idea how both these dogs have changed our lives- they are great for us but also our family and friends. THANKS!!!!! Monica

4/26/10 - Kelli,  Just wanted to let you know Charlie is phenomenal- he is healthy and doing great.  He is so laid back and fun at the same time.  He and Gracie are best buds and have been a total joy!  I can't imagine life with only one doodle- especially a MC doodle.  I must say that people comment a lot on the looks of the MC doodles - and I can see it.  You have beautiful puppies.  All I know is that they have brought such joy and for Gracie, well, she is calmer and loves..... having Charlie around. Thanks for all you do!!!!, Monica

6/1/2010 - Kelli, Thank you I found the vitamins in his kit.  He is so cute and so good!  He actually appears to like his crate! This guys personality is the best!  You did a great job with him...and for his first night, he was pretty good.  I'm impressed.  Courtney.

5/23/10 - Hi Kelli,  I just thought I would send you a little note and tell you how grateful we are that you gave us the greatest puppy in Moss Creek history!  He is an absolute joy and we can’t describe how much we love him and how much joy he has brought to our lives!  I don't know how you do it but you sure have a gift for matching families with the right puppies. Peyton loves the water!!!  We live near a park with a creek and since it has gotten warmer we walk him there every day and he absolutely loves it!  This morning Jonathan walked in it with him and they had such a good time.  Peyton will follow Jonathan everywhere and if he lays down he will lay right beside him. He doesn't bite and he runs around in the back yard with Jonathan and his friends and they have a ball.  He seems to love everybody and many people have commented that he is such a good dog.  I weighed him this morning and he is 34 pounds of fluff and he is just adorable. Thank you so much for such an awesome puppy! Take care, Debbie, Greg, and Jonathan

5/22/10 - Kelli, I just wanted to let you know that Kona (Keiiah's Pink Girl) and I made it back to Virginia safe and sound. She is absolutely perfect and I just love her! Thank you so much for all of your hard work! She is the most well behaved and sweetest puppy and is fitting in perfectly here. I will keep in touch and send some pictures as she grows. Thank you, Sarah

5/21/10 - Kelli, Just wanted to update you on Daisy...what a doll!  My mother came for a visit & fell in love with her-- wanted to hold her all the time.   She did well for her vaccination- weighed 15 lbs.  Can go all night without having to go out for at least 2 1/2 weeks now and seems to be housetrained (don't want to speak too soon-- but she really seems to get it).  She went socializing once she had her vaccination.  She went to a nursing home/rehab place to visit a friend of mine-- she was AWESOME!!  She was so great that she was invited back by the staff to visit anytime.  She rides great in the car-- she and Loki have had a few car trips for socialization.  She visited with some other dogs at a friend's house today and was super...not too shy, just very well behaved and respectful.  She's met other people and loves everyone.  She's always so happy and eager to please & loves to play with the other dogs. I've included a few pictures for you-- definitely made a good choice with a girl for Loki-- she may end up bossing him but he's so tolerant that he just takes it all in stride and he is definitely crazy about her. Take care, Wendy

5/13/2010 - Hi, Kelli - Just wanted to let you know that our little world traveler made the trip to NJ with astonishing ease.  Not a peep from the second we got on the plane until we were in the car driving home.  He is quite a joy to the entire family.  He's eating, sleeping well, doing great with potty training, and becoming very adventuresome in the back yard.  The vet (and her assistant) loved him (how could they not!).  We do hope your nephew isn't missing him too much - we now understand how Levi captured hearts, including ours!  He is just too sweet for words.  Here are a few pictures of the handsome guy.  Haven't attempted to post to the forum yet but will get to it soon.  Many blessings to you and all the puppy handlers in FL (by the way, raining & cold again in the NE - makes us want to move to Stuart for good!  :-)   Take care--and thanks for welcoming us so warmly into your home.  Lelia

5/11/2010 - Hi Kelli,  I have to tell you that Sophie's new Vet was absolutely impressed by how well mannered and behaved Sophie was during her well visit yesterday. Dr. Morgan was amazed and commended you for raising such a beautiful puppy, and I for being so lucky to have her.  Not surprisingly Sophie checked out with excellent health. Thank you once again, she is perfect in every way! Best and warm regards, Sonia

4/14/2010 - Hello Kelli, I just wanted to email you to thank you again for my little Sirius. He is the easiest dog ever trained and “mothered”. He knows all his basics at 3.5months old. We worked tonight with his private teacher and we decided to just keep going since he is so thirsty to learn. I am starting to train him to target and he is learning to come hit a target and in few weeks, he will turn on the lights in my house! Then he had his final shots this am, no problems at all, he is so sweet. The vet techs and the staff were so impress about a non crazy doodle. They told me so many stories about doodles bouncing all over the place. Sirius is so smart and appropriate. He is playing when it is time, eating when it is time, pooping/peeing on command and sleeping when necessary. He is a joy, smart, and loves to learn/ When he plays with my dogs or other bigger dogs, he just jumps in their face, then they all run after him and then when he is tired, he comes between of my legs or any other human legs and is saying TIME OUT to the other dogs. When he is ready, he just takes his swing and goes back jumping in the face of the big dogs again… we laugh so much. He started to spend about 1 hour every evening playing non stop with Daisy (the one that I thought would be a problem-she loves him-he is all slimy). He learned the dog door in about 2 days and uses the bell at the office. I took him to the rehab center today and I am getting a vest to teach humans to ask to pet him because everybody jumps on him and they don’t make him sit first. He does it very well but he needs to be asked and I insist about good behavior. So with the vest, it will slow down people a little bit. He will be an excellent therapy dog and is having no problems with walkers, canes or wheelchairs. I don’t take pictures because I am WITH him. I will try this week-end. Oh he also swims in the pool. Thank you again, Sirius is a genius!  Dr. Christine Laramee

5/3/2010 - Hi Kelli,  Oscar is doing great as you can see from the pictures.  He loves my Grandchildren, especially when I get the baby pool out and the hose!  He is wonderful with other dogs, Riley next door the sheltie is his best friend so far, but Brewski, a Labradoodle is closing in. We walk at least 2 times a day, go on car rides, go to the shopping center to walk around etc.  We are scheduled to begin puppy obedience June 1st.  It’s a very intense training with homework etc.  I’m sure he will do very well.  He has finally calmed down around the cats…I think for a long time he thought his name was “no cat”.  He is just beautiful…so many people stop me and ask about him, he’s one of those dogs that just attack's attention due to his personality and his appearance. Thanks again for picking out the perfect dog for my family…I know I got the best of the litter.  Molly

5/4/2010 - Hi Lauren and Kelli, Adam is the best dog ever! He is doing all the commands you taught him and goes potty on command. He has had zero accidents and is so cute. The vet says he is very healthy. Except for a little whining when the crate door closes he is perfect. Thank you for all your help. Eric

4/27/2010 - Hello Kelli, I hope everything is well and your team is producing great puppies. Our puppy Bettis, is everything and more than we expected. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. We can see the comparisons to both breeds. He does some things that remind us so much of our dearly departed poodle, Wynston. It is amazing. When he gets rowdy, I joke with my wife and tell her that is the retriever in him, my poodle would never act that way. Anyway, it has been great. Considering another in a couple of months.  Thanks, Ralph

4/27/2010 - Hi Kelli, Samson's first birthday is coming up and we are having a big party with all of his friends.  You should know is Samson has been selected by The Good Dog Foundation to be a therapy dog.  He was skipped right through basics and straight to therapy, so in 5 weeks we start in NYC hospitals.  They also think he'd be best with kids because he is sooooo patient, tolerant, and loving.  I want you to know that Samson is my best friend - he is my child.  I could not imagine life before him and he is beyond a pleasure.  I am also such a hands-on Mom that if he sneezes we go to the vet, if anything were to happen to my baby I don't know what I would do. I hope all is well at Moss Creek and you should know that Samson is famous in New York City.  He even has a video on youtube playing at Daycare with his friend Coal. Attached is a recent picture of my darling, he looks like his daddy Caleb. Thanks, Steph

7/15/2008 - Post from the forum.  We are empty nesters, having had 2 golden retrievers in the past. Took 3 years before we decided another dog would be a right for us. My husband actually found Kelli....after MUCH research. He was set on a Goldendoodle. Lots of great breeders, but there is only one, Kelli. And how lucky we live in FL. Dasher was a pup we picked up Christmas eve, thus his name. Teddy was a rehome thru Kelli at 10 months (if you don't want your dog, she either finds a home or takes them back) Needless to say, we could not be happier! Great dogs, Great breeder.  Another bonus, the forum.....we have made some very special friends after almost 3 years....and I am still a McDoodle Nut addicted to this forum. Hope we hear from you one day as you wait for a puppy from Moss Creek....you won't regret it. Pam, Terry, Dasher and Teddy.

7/16/2008 - Post from the forum.  Beacon was so named because he's become light at the end of the tunnel for me.

In the summer of 2006, we had to put to sleep our sweet, yellow lab, Lucy, who had grown up with our 4 children, a member of our family for almost 14 years. The following year, we also lost our 2 little Yorkies, one to bladder cancer and one to a horrible attack by another dog. I know how lonely a house can be with the children grown and having to say good-bye to beloved pets. Yours is the perfect home for a Goldendoodle. They are born to love, to be loved and to mend broken hearts!

Beacon came to us last August of 2007. He's an English Goldendoodle, F1B. His parents are Hannah and Abraham. If you search his name..."Beacon," or our granddaughter's name: "Claire", you should be able to find plenty of photos. During Lucy's elder years, we'd discussed eventually getting a Labradoodle (...a non shedding Lucy)....and I had often searched the internet for breeders. After Lucy's death, I began doing more reading. David and I decided that we really thought the description of the English Goldendoodle temperament fit more of what we desired. The English Golden retrievers had a reputation of being a little more laid back and we wanted a more mild mannered dog. That narrowed our search. We spoke to several breeders through telephone, email, and personal visits, but when Kelli called last June to say she had one last puppy who would be available at the end of the summer, we knew this was the breeder for us. The timing was perfect.

Beacon arrived via plane after spending 2 week in "boot camp training." It was near the end of a very hectic/stressful season that included: losing our pets, graduating from nursing school, losing my mother/caring for dad, the arrival of our 1st grandchild :), the wedding of our son, taking national nursing boards, and preparing to start a new job working night shift. Little did I know that I'd also lose my father only 3 months after Beacon's arrival (6 months after Mom's death), but that he'd be a blessing to my Dad during the visits they had together.

These are some of the advantages I see of adopting a Moss Creek Goldendoodle:
1) You're getting a hybrid puppy of 2 of the smartest breeds on the planet (poodles and Goldens). Hybrids = healthier pups.
2) You're getting a pup from the most caring, conscientious, and ethical Goldendoodle breeder you'll encounter. Kelli loves her dogs AND her clients! She breeds for excellence in both health and temperament. She only promises what she can deliver. She'll interview you by phone and match you with a puppy that you'll swear was created in heaven just for you!
3) You'll have a wonderful new support system, not only in raising your new puppy... but also just to share anything else you feel like sharing in your life, on this forum.
4) Your broken heart will begin to heal as your home fills with the smiles and laughter that erupts from experiencing, observing, and sharing in all of the new antics of your new Moss Creek Doodle.
5) BEWARE! You'll not be getting merely a new dog.... you'll be getting a Moss Creek Doodle. These creatures are almost human the way they look at us, communicate with us, interact with us, etc. They are so very smart. So very affectionate... are Highly trainable..... and the F1B's DO NOT SHED!

I never knew a dog could be such a balm to a hurting soul as Beacon has become. I never knew I could miss a dog so much when I'm gone from home during the day. Beacon accompanies us on errands and attracts attention wherever we go. Our kids all ask about him whenever they call home. Our 1 year old granddaughter is thoroughly enthralled with him and Beacon is as gentle as a lamb with her.

I'm so sorry for your heartache over losing Topper and Teddy, but I can assure you that while your former pets can never be replaced, a puppy from Kelli will help mend your broken heart and provide years of joy ahead.

God bless you as you make your big decision and then give you tons of PATIENCE as you wait!
Jeanie

7/15/2008 - I searched on google for non-shedding dogs and I found the word Goldendoodle, I was curious so I went to different sites, after seeing the pictures and reading about them I was in love with the breed. I kept searching for breeders and I found Moss Creek to be the one I liked the best.  When I put my name on a list for a doodle I didn't know much about waiting lists or F1 or F1b's. I just wanted a Goldendoodle! When I came from my 2 month vacation in Spain I went to Kelli's to pick up my baby. OMG he was so beautiful!! She picked the perfect dog for me!  We are all crazy about him. He is so much fun and so intelligent. He's well behaved and handsome. He is everything I expected and a lot more. He turned one in June and couple days ago I posted a slide show of him on the forum.
A few months later after we heard our friends on the forum saying double doodle was the best, we decided to give Nadal a brother. This time we wanted a red baby from Aden since my husband and I saw his picture and it was love at first sight. Iker came to us 3 months ago. He's 5 mo. old and soooo cute. He's so well behaved too! You can check the search box, Iker is his name. Here is his picture...

I take them everywhere I can. Nadal went to tennis class with me yesterday. He waited tied up, sitting with his bowl of water under a tree next to the court, most of the time being petted and spoiled by my friends. Then to the ice cream shop for his weekly ice-cream and to pet smart to get some treats and a new toy (just like a kid). They are never sick. Their skin is very healthy so is their weight. No allergies to anything. As you can tell with a Moss Creek dog you get a bunch of GREAT friends too. After a year, I still check the forum twice at least, daily. And then there is Kelli, she is such an amazing person and she's always there for you. The only problem you'll find with Moss Creek is that is so hard to choose the parents, they are all great! I hope this helps you. Good luck!! Maria, Jim, Nadal and Iker

7/15/2008 - Post on the forum.  I had a Golden mix for almost 16 years and had to say goodbye last August. I found out about Moss Creek through a very good friend of mine. There was a litter due on my birthday in November and I put a DP with Kelli in October. Wouldn't you know it but Kelli made sure that the date was right on and now Jewel and I have something in common! You will certainly not regret a Moss Creek puppy....none of the other hundreds of crazies on this forum have! Good luck. Steve (Jewel)

7/15/2008 - Post on the forum. You can discontinue your search, you just found the most awesome breeder and dogs anywhere! ;-) We have two, one is two years old (Ollie) and one is a little over a year old (Harriet) we cannot say enough good things about Kelli and Moss Creek!! They are so caring, and will find just the right puppy for you based on your description of what you want.. ;-) What a life this lucky Doodle will have traveling with you guys, All our Best! xo Love, Crystal and family...

7/15/2008 - Post on the forum.  I have a Three Year old Goldendoodle from Moss Creek. Her name is Mambo. I have written rather a lot about Mambo recently. If you go to the search section on the forum and type in Mambo, you will find many things. I could not be happier with My Dog.

The way the system works here, is you describe to Kelli those traits you are looking for in a dog. Be a detailed as possible, including everything from where you will keep the dog, how much you go out with your dog, the color desired... as many things as you can think of for your 'perfect dog'. Kelli will match you up with your 'Perfect Goldendoodle'. You will never regret the decision for even an instant. Sincerely, Daniel

7/15/2008 - Post on the forum.  My doodle's name is Rhone, he was born last year in June. When I got him I had been through a very painful divorceWhen my mom realized how lonely I was, we started looking for a big dog that wouldn't aggravate my allergies. Of course, labradoodles came up first, especially since I have such an affinity for labs, but I wanted a more mellow dog, one who would cuddle with me and not make me crazy with the energy that it had. So, we moved on to Goldendoodles. Time after time, Moss Creek came up when we were looking into English Goldendoodles (English for the blocky heads and mellow temperaments). There are a few breeders here in Colorado, but none that breed English doodles, so eventually we contacted Kelli. It just so happened that she had a spot available for just what I was looking for in a litter that had just been born about a week before that. We started the process and watched them grow through the weekly photos and updates Kelli sent to us. When time came to pick first and second choice, I had my heart set on my first choice! Luckily, everyone picked a different puppy and we all got our first choice!! =) He was shipped to me and I picked Rhone up from the airport when he flew in. He seemed happy to be out of his kennel and no worse for the wear. I fell instantly in love with him and the rest is history!!

He is such an absolute joy in my life! He intuitively knows what I need from him, whether its a hug, or some distance, for him to behave, or to make me laugh with some of his silly antics. He is perfectly healthy (weighs about 42lbs, he was the runt) aside from the occasional sensitive stomach. I think poodles in general have more sensitive tummy's and he is an F1b, 75% poodle. He comes to work with me everyday and has wonderful manners with the customers! He is a little celebrity around here and people will stop by my salon just to say hi to my dog!! He was trained in about a day, and whenever sneaky dog issues make their way into his brain, it takes about 15 minutes to break him of any bad habits. I know this is a lot, but most of us will talk about these dogs for days until you stop us!! If you do get a Moss Creek Goldendoodle, know that not only are you getting a wonderful dog breed from a wonderful breeder...but you also have the wonderful forum at your disposal for any of your questions, scares, support (from us and Kelli), and to share as your dog and ours grow and learn.

Here are a couple photos of my amazing dog, I hope this helps and if you do get a Moss Creek baby, please please keep us updated with posts and photos!!! Krystal

7/15/2008 - Post from the forum.  We lost both our babies after 14 years within months of each other and like you my family couldn't imagine life without a furry friend. I met a labradoodle in my neighborhood and fell in love instantly. Then when I started researching I found Goldendoodles!!! I was so excited because I am more partial to Goldens (my other dog was a golden) so I knew I had found my new addition. It also helped for my husband that most doodles either don't shed or shed very little.  I was nervous at first since I had never gotten a dog from a breeder so I researched even more and found Moss Creek. It has been the best decision ever. Molly is 10 months old and is an absolute joy. She is very smart, sweet and loving. She is perfectly healthy and full of energy. She loves life and everything in it. Kelli is an amazing person who gives her all to her puppies. I'm sure you can tell by how informative her website is. Not only is she helpful during the process of getting your puppy but she continues to be an amazing resource throughout your dogs life. Luckily I haven't had a reason to call her yet but for those who have she is helpful and supportive.  You can't go wrong with a Moss Creek puppy. Just tell Kelli what your looking for in a friend and she will match you with the perfect baby. :) Michelle

7/18/2008 - Post from the forum.  Annie (parents are Candace and Abraham) came into my life in April after the loss of my Golden, Sadie almost a year before. "Annie" is the most wonderful girl. She is calm, well-adjusted, and probably the easiest dog I have ever had. She is an F1B Goldendoodle and is so very cute and sweet. I was referred to Moss Creek by another "Doodle owner" and can't say enough about Kelli as a breeder and the Doodles as pets. You will fall in love right away (just as I did.) You will be thrilled with your new "best friend."  Leona

7/18/2008 - Post from the forum.  I wanted to write to you and tell you how we came to Moss Creek. Like Jeanie (Beacon), we had our sheltie for 12 years before putting him down March of 07. He had cancer and numerous other health issues. Like you and your husband, we are "empty nesters" with our youngest son starting his 2nd year of college this fall. Our oldest is 23.

Our house was so quiet. I couldn't stand it! At first, I told my husband I will NOT get another dog! It was too painful. Within a few months, I was researching "GoldenDoodles" since I saw one on tv! After I met a few in person, I was hooked!!

I had a bad experience with another breeder before Kelli. Thank goodness I found Kelli! She was the nicest person to talk to! She ALWAYS returned phone calls as well as e-mails! She made me feel so comfortable...how could I go wrong? Even now, after one year, I continue to stay in touch with her. Long after the puppies leave her place, she has been a constant supporter of NO MATTER WHAT. She has always been there for me when I needed guidance!

Stella was flown to us in Iowa August 15, 2007...she was my birthday present from my husband! I have to tell you she is the SWEETEST, SMARTEST, CUDDLIEST (is that a word?), LOVABLE dog we have ever owned!!! We both grew up with dogs as kids and I'm not lying when I tell you there is something special about these dogs. The way they look at you with their soulful eyes (not to mention their very long eyelashes!) will melt your heart.

You will not be sorry. Our hearts were broken, but Stella has filled that empty void. We can never compare our dogs because each will hold a special place in our hearts forever. My husband thought we would be "betraying" Sammie by getting another dog soon after, but once Stella was home, the guilt melted away.

When I am home alone, especially when my husband is on duty for 24 hrs at the Fire Dept as a Paramedic, Stella is right by my side. So far her health has been excellent.

I'm sorry I got long winded! If there is anything I can help you with, please don't hesitate to ask! We are all here for you! We are the McDoodle families and we love Kelli and our doodles!!  Take care, Gina and Stella

7/18/2008 - Post from the forum - I cannot say enough great things about Kelli and this forum!! We are all family and would do anything for our doodles. You have picked by far, in my book, the best breeder in the world who loves her animals, and is very careful in placing them in there forever home. She will make sure to find the right fit for you, and your family. I have two from her Shiloh who is a year old and Logan who is 7 months old. I love them to death they are such wonderful dogs to have. They are from the same parents just different litters. The dogs are raised in a beautiful home on 10 acres that is spotless clean every time I've been there.  You cannot go wrong with a puppy from Moss Creek.  Misty (Shiloh & Logan)

11/26/2007 - Dear Kelli - I can't tell you how much joy our Zoey has brought to our house.  She is so happy & loving.  What a great dog she is.  She has been poochie bell trained for about a month.  Never has accidents in her crate and I can't remember the last time she had one in the house.  Thanks so much for the new love of my life!  Kim

12/01/2007 - Kelli - We just wanted to let you know how AMAZING all of us (including our 16 yr old who is not impressed by much) think Jolie is.  She made the trip home without even a whimper.  She got comfortable on Cathy and went to sleep for a little while.  Then decided to explore the back seat for a while and finally settled on curling up on the backset and taking another nap.  No car sickness or anything.  We wanted to let you know how things were going and to THANK YOU for producing such a wonderful puppy.  You can tell by how happy and well adjusted she is that you did an extraordinary job in getting her to this point.  Everything we read about you and your puppies has been exactly true!  We will post some pictures of Jolie as soon as we can stop staring at her for a few minutes.  Greg and Cathy.

12/28/2007 - Hi Kelli! Reggie did so well on the trip home - no hint of car sickness at all!  We didn't feed him anything until this morning - he ate about half of his food and has been playing with the kids.  You did a great job picking him for us!  It was great meeting you and Ren!  Thanks again for all that did - and are doing for all of the other lucky McDoodle owners! Amy

12/28/2007 - Hi Kelli - I just sent you some photos so I hope you get them.  the girls are so happy and Riley is so loved already!  We are so thankful we found you!  You did an amazing job with our Riley and we will continue what we started. I can't thank you enough for picking him for us.  He's perfect.  Fondly, Jane

7/12/2007 - Kelli and Ren, Just an update for you on Dasher & Teddy!  It is unbelievable (or maybe not) how easy the transformation has been with Teddy!  I thought it would be months to even walk them together!  Teddy is very loving and responsive to everything!  He is a total delight and we love him dearly.  How lucky are we!  VERY!! Dasher, our dashing boy has been a great teacher!  So funny, my sister is in town with her goldens.  Teddy ran over to bark at the neighbor and my sisters youngest (10 mos ) retriever started barking as well.  Dasher mouthed the 2 and my sister couldn't believe it. She thought at first Dasher was being a brat. It was if Dasher was saying "we don't do that"  He only mouths and does this on occasion when Teddy barks.   He is a very GOOD teacher.  Learning the dog language is very interesting to say the least.... Thank-you, thank-you....we are having such fun with the boys......Terry, Pam, the Dash and Teddy

7/11/2007 - I just wanted to let you know that we are so thrilled to have Bailey in our family.  She did wonderful on her first night in her new home and even slept through the entire night without an accident.  We cannot imagine life without her now.  She quickly became a celebrity in our family and with our neighbors.  Everyone wanted to see the new puppy and could not get over how adorable she was.  She is so well behaved and is already following several commands.  We have absolutely fallen in love with Bailey and spend all of our time playing and snuggling with her. Thank you again for everything! Warmest regards, Christine, Chris & Brendan

7/29/2007 - Hi Kelli! I thank God everyday that I found you and Zoe. Life with Zoe just gets better and better! I hope you and your family are well! Love, Joanie

6/30/2007 - Kelli - I was sitting her playing with Delilah and realized that it was a year ago that I picked her up.  She is absolutely the best pal anyone could want.  We are working on learning some new tricks.  She almost has a new one down.  If I tell her to go be a couch potato, she walks over and jumps up on the sofa and looks at the TV.  So cute!  She turns out to be a good cuddler when I am watching TV.  Yep, she is a spoiled girl and loves it. I bought a convertible this spring to celebrate getting tenure.  That was good too.  Poor Delilah, it seems she does not like wind in her hair.  She has gotten better though.  I put on her seatbelt and she hops in the back seat.  When we drive, she put her head on the armrest between the seats.  When we stop, she pops her head up and smiles that the other people.  When it is time to drive again, I say "here we go" and she plops down and puts her head out of the wind.  Yep, that dog is a good one.  Thank you for the best gift ever!!!! Kathleen and Delilah

6/20/2007 - Kelli, Lorenzo has become the love of our lives and we have rolled up all the rugs and turned the house into a dog house littered with toys and sticks.  he may be the smartest dog we have ever had and he remains a cuddly love.  Just like you said. He is such a pleasure.  Geo and I continue to say how grateful we are to you for his good genes and getting him off to such a good start.  Best wishes to you and yours, Lois.

3/26/2007 - Hi Kelli!  Louie turns 1 this Sunday and I just wanted to send you some updated photos.  He is doing great, is a very happy dog, loves his brother the cat (cat doesn't always feel the same), and weighs 49 lbs.  I can't believe it has been a year.  We are so happy with our decision to get a Goldendoodle and for being so fortunate to get such a great dog like Louie!  Hope all is well with you - enjoy the photos!  MJ

3/04/2007 - Hello Kelli, Soleil had a play date at the beach and park the other day.  We had a blast.  I didn't bring Lilly b/c of being too overwhelmed with just me and 2 big dogs!  There's me and Soleil and then Crystal and Ollie and Mollie and Aden. Never thought I'd ever have a dog play date.  I didn't know what I was missing!  Thank you for my 2 fur children and the forum.  I have made some awesome friends. Love to all!! Pam

2/24/2007 - Hi Kelli! It's Helen (Toby's mom). Thought you might enjoy this article in the NY Times. I haven't been good about keeping in touch, but you should know that Toby is doing well and in my unbiased opinion is THE BEST dog ever!!! Sweet, mellow, affectionate, calm, happy, beautiful, social -- just great! -Helen

2/9/2007 - Hi Kelli, - I wanted to send an email and thank you for our two puppies, Darby and Toby.  They're such a great addition to our family.  They get along well together and with everyone they meet.  You did a great job with their training.  They are smart and eager to please.  I will send pictures soon.  Thanks again for everything!  Robin

2/09/2007 -  HI Kelli - Everything is going great!  Max is doing great and growing like a weed.  He is so smart and was house trained in a week.  We are so happy with him.  I am also happy I took your recommendation.  You were right on!  He's perfect for our family. He's exactly what you said he would be in every way.  Thank you!  Joann.

1/27/2007 - Hi Kelli!  Just a note (and a few pics) to say thank you for such a sweet, beautiful doodle!   Bella is just SO sweet - such a baby!  As I'm typing, she has taken over Chief's bed & Chief is on the floor sleeping.  You really did choose the best pup for us!  Bella really doesn't mind the kids at all.  They are gentle, but smothering, and she just goes right along with it all.  Everything went great today - she slept the whole car ride home.  Only one pee pee accident, but it was on our patio.  So, in her defense, technically we were outside. lol!  She almost always goes potty when we take her out.   Of course, we got rain tonight, so she prefers to just roll around in the wet grass & try to eat the leaves. Funny....she seems to like to lay down while she eats.  What a princess...For dinner, I decided to put her food bowl in her crate.  She climbed right in and ate almost all of her 1/2 cup.  Same thing, she ate while lying down.  Kids love her.  We love her.  Neighbors kids & parents love her.  And, she & Chief hit it off right away.  It's funny, b/c she is little, but will pounce on him & he doesn't know what to do.  He tries to play with her, but then she just loses her balance and falls down.  Thanks again for everything! Wendy V.

1/27/2007 - I’ve been meaning to post on the forum, but time gets away from me. We are absolutely enjoying Harley!!!  After the first week, Les said to me, “I can’t believe how much a part of our family he is already”.  He is doing well and is getting so big.  We go back to the vet on Tuesday and I’ll know how much he has grown.  He goes potty outside and rings the bells (sometimes) or he just stares at the door.  He slept completely through the night by the 3rd night (from 10-6:30) and has never had an accident in his kennel.  He is so well adjusted to our schedule, loves to play with the kids (nips occasionally but we are working on that), loves taking rides in the car to drop-off or pick-up the kids, is a complete angel at grandma’s house (because he’s smart enough to know that she doesn’t exactly “love” dogs and wants to get to come back).  He knows “sit”, “shake” and will “sit and wait patiently” for his food to be put in the bowl.  He drags anything and everything to his bed to “play” with it, so if we are missing something we know the first place to look for it.  Just last night he kept stealing the colored pencils off the kids table… it was just like having a toddler in the house.  He is absolutely a joy and makes us laugh often!!!  And I swear… he has a constant smile on his face!!!

Thanks for keeping up with us.  As you can probably tell, I can’t say enough about our wonderful Harley.  He’s asleep at my feet as I type.  We pretty much think he is the perfect fit for our family.  Thanks for everything.

I’ll send pictures and a similar update to the forum soon.  I’d love to know how other litter-mates are doing. Thanks for Harley, Christine

1/19/2007 - Kelli, Well the kids are almost asleep, and Finnigan is lying on the ground near his Poochie Bells and the sliding door. It is the first place we brought him when we walked him into the house, and it seems like it’s the place he likes to hang out. The 2 hr ride home was totally fine. Not a peep. Lots of snuggles for Dad and big sister #1. We brought him upstairs, showed him the bells. He did not ring them for us, so we rang them for him, and took him outside and after some coaxing … HE PEED!!  We have done the same thing about 4 or 5 five times. Twice while we stood at the door with him and told him to ring the bells, he pushed them with his nose. Every time we have brought him out he has peed, and he pooped twice! He is brilliant!  Thank  you, Allison

1/19/07 - Hi Kelli, I hope you are doing well.  I have great news.  I went to the doctor last week and my lupus is going into a medical remission.  That is doctor-speak for "I have to take the medicine, but the illness is not destroying anything or giving me much trouble."  It is the first time in 5 years.  Thank God!  Anyway, this doctor is not the king of tact.  He said it did not make sense because all the medicine is the same.  He wanted to know what I was doing differently.  I said I was not sure and he said "THINK".  He asked a bunch of questions.  None of it was what he was looking for.  I randomly said that I got Delilah about the time the numbers started to improve.  He asked a few more questions and said "Well, that is it.  The dog put you into remission."  He then shut his file and left.  After a few minutes, I opened the door to see if he was coming back.  The nurse said she thought he was done.  She opened the chart and started to laugh.  I asked what was up and she turned it around for me to see.  He had written "Dog works better than drugs. Keep dog and come back in 6 months."

Tomorrow is grooming day for Delilah.  Her coat is super thick and soft with this new food.  The mats are a little trouble under her arms and behind the ears.  I am glad I know what to expect after the groomer now so I am not so shocked like last time.  I think I offended the dog when I laughed at her hair cut.  I won't do that again :)

I could never thank you enough for giving me Delilah.  She has changed my life for the better.  I can't remember life without her.  Thank you, Kathleen  - You can read more about Kathleen's special story HERE!

1/14/2007 Kelli, Our first week with Magic has been truly magical.  He is very gentle and mild mannered.  He is already ringing the bell to go outside! He is SO smart! We took him to our vet for a check-up on Saturday and he was perfect in everyway.  Our Vet was very impressed with the care he received and said he was a healthy, well adjusted puppy.  Thank you for our new family member!  Stephanie

1/14/2007 - Hi Kelli, Just thought I would let you know how Sienna & Tiger did yesterday and last night.  They are wonderful!!They both did great playing and having their own down time. They both skipped lunch but ate like bandits at dinner time.  Bedtime Tiger took about 10 minutes to settle but the night went great, they slept all night.  Tiger is doing great with going potty outside no inside accidents,  Sienna has had a couple inside accidents but when she is outside she will go potty.  They were my fault for not watching her.  Thank you so much for our great little puppies!  We love them and appreciate the hard work you put into them to get them to this point.  Dawn  P.S. A neighbor of mine came down when I had the puppies outside yesterday, and loved them.  I referred her to your website and hopefully they contact you and get a puppy.

1/5/2007 - Hi Kelli, Ren, and all the Moss Creek helpers - Sorry it has been so long since I wrote. Everything is wonderful with Molly! She is just adorable and we love her so! Duncan loves her too and the feeling is mutual. They are the best of friends. Our Molly is going to be spayed on Monday and I know that night with her at the vet's is going to be different for Duncan. We are so happy with our two wonderful puppies! We couldn't be happier! Two doodles really are better than one! Molly is so polite -- having her go to Toni at Milo's Boot Camp was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'll try to give you a call soon. Hope this new year brings you nothing but joy, health, fulfillment, and energy to keep raising the most adorable dogs in the world!  Love, Betti

12/17/06 - Hi Kelli, I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know that Calli is the sweetest thing we could ever imagine. I mean seriously, she is sooooo amazing and so smart already. She fits right in with us, it’s almost like she’s been a part of our family since the beginning. She is so easy going too. She plays like a puppy and then just lies down and chills. She’s taken 2 naps already and just lays down whenever she’s tired. The girls are soooooo in love with her. They keep saying that she’s the so sweet and the best puppy in the world. Santa delivered her this morning, and everything went off as planned. Thanks again for everything. We love her so much. She has totally completed our family.  Mary and family

11/27/06 - Hey Kelli,  I am at work right now, but I promise that when I get home tonight I will email you the latest pictures we have of Yankee.  He is 64 lbs right now, and we have been keeping his hair a bit shorter, but still fluffy.  He seems to like it.     Obedience with Yankee is so easy....we walk on lead all of the time, but in the yard, we take him off lead and he loves just running around the yard never leaving our sight.  He responds very well to commands by voice and to hand signals for sit, stay, down, and come.  He is so smart.  Sometimes we think that he understands everything we say.  So anyway the pictures will come tonight.  Talk soon, Gary

11/6/2006 - This is just a thank-you to you, Ren and all related to Moss Creek.  My lasting impression of this last McDoodle Romp/B-Day bash is the following:

Happy dogs - never even heard a bark

Smiling faces - the humans were enthralled with it all

With 17 dogs it could have, would have happened, but didn't.

And it was all brought to us via you and Moss Creek.

Just want to thank you for giving us all a very pleasant happy day!!!! Oh, I must tell you as well, that Ruffles is one very handsome dude!!! Wow! Not that the other McDoodles weren't handsome or cute, but he is a standout and we hope we see more of him on the forum.  Thank you again, Pam

10/14/06 - Kelli- I just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you how in love we are with Henry.  He is the sweetest” little” man!!  His temperament is perfect.  My three daughters adore him.  He now weighs 23 lbs. at almost 14 weeks (dob 7/9/06)—what is your guess as to his adult size?  Everyone comments on how big his paws are.  Our Shih Tzu’s, Otto and Oliver, won’t pay him a bit of attention, but hopefully that will change.  And Henry tries to get my attention when I focus on them-it’s pretty funny.  There are tons of dogs in our neighborhood and several other Doodles, so he will have many playmates.  We’ll send pictures soon—he is beautiful. Hopefully, we can get another one of your Doodles one day.  They are incredible dogs.  Thank you! The Leinenkugels - Charlotte, NC

10/02/06 - Kelli,   Sam is doing beautifully.  He is so calm and so smart.  He is already sitting on command and is doing well with his house training. He is liking his crate more and more each day, and frequently goes in to snooze.  Thanks for a wonderful puppy! Laura

9/30/06 - Hi Kelli,  I just wanted to quickly write and tell you tonight how much we love Abby.  I know you have puppies leaving you this weekend, and it probably seems a little like "empty nest syndrome", so I wanted to let you know how wonderful our puppy is and how grateful we are to have her, AND HOW MUCH we appreciate all the effort and hard work your whole family and friends devote to this for us!!! She has really become the love of our life, and even my hubby who is business minded and pretty much "hard core", loves her to death (he even lets her jump up on our bed so he can pet her at night and rub her belly- ha!!!)  What a difference a year makes in our lives, and thanks to you, we have a little special puppy (OK all of 57 pounds!!)  always making us happy.   She knows exactly when we are happy, sad, etc.  She is always lending a paw to the kids when they are crying or sad- she intuitively knows their emotions and gives them attention and love to make them feel better- almost better than me- their own MOM!!! I am so amazed at how smart she is and how loving she is.  Thanks again, Kelli, for making a difference in our family life.  I could not imagine a life without Abby.  I know you all work so hard and please give my best to the crew at Moss Creek.  Stacia
